What a great morning on Southsea Common - the weather held out, the competitors were keen and the bubbles were ... bubbling!
The Bubble Rush is a fantastic fund raising event held on Soutshea Common, by Naomi House and Jacksplace, each year. It comprises a 5km course for joggers, walkers and meanderers to travel between 4 bubble stations. Each station generates a mass of soapy bubbles that the participants wade, jump or crawl (!) through. Much laughter and screaming involved!
Several club members attended the event to occupy the bubble stations around the course and ensure participants stayed on track. But most importantly, we encouraged and cajoled participants to go for it - and they did!
A fantastic fund raising event for the fabulous Naomi House and Jacks Place and the great work they do, with hundreds of brave souls taking up the challenge. Individuals, teams, companies and families all took part, doing a fantastic job raising loads of money for the cause.
Looking forward to next year!
